Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the MeuDinheiroControlado app (the "App"), developed by Geovane de Andrade Grangeiro (the "Developer"), collects, uses, stores, and protects user information.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information Collected

MeuDinheiroControlado collects only the information necessary to provide its features.

Google Account Information

If you choose to sign in with a Google Account, the App may access:

  • Name;
  • Email address;
  • Google Account identifier.

This information is used only to identify the user and enable login, authentication, and backup features.

Google sign-in is used exclusively for user authentication and to enable features that depend on Google Account integration, such as data backup and restore. The App requests only the permissions strictly necessary for these features.

Signing in with Google is optional, except for features that depend on Google Account integration.

Financial Data

Users may voluntarily record information such as:

  • Income;
  • Expenses;
  • Categories;
  • Accounts;
  • Financial goals;
  • Recurring entries;
  • Notes;
  • Other user-entered information.

This data belongs exclusively to the user and is used only to operate the App.

Backup Data

If backup is enabled, financial data may be stored in the user's Google Drive account.

The Developer does not have access to the content stored in the user's Google Drive.

Access to Google Drive is used exclusively to create, list, restore, and delete backup files belonging to MeuDinheiroControlado. The App does not access, modify, or share other files stored in the user's Google Drive account.

Technical Data

Technical information may also be collected to improve the App, including:

  • Device model;
  • Operating system version;
  • App version;

This data is not used to personally identify users.

2. How We Use Information

The information collected is used to:

  • Enable App functionality;
  • Authenticate users;
  • Perform backups and restores;
  • Sync data when requested;
  • Improve stability and performance;
  • Fix errors;
  • Provide technical support.

The Developer does not sell, trade, or rent users' personal data.

3. Advertising

The free version of MeuDinheiroControlado may display ads provided by Google AdMob.

Google may collect certain information to deliver, measure, and improve ad delivery as described in its own Privacy Policy.

Where permitted by applicable law and your device or Google Account settings, advertising identifiers may be used to personalize ads.

You can manage your ad personalization preferences directly in your Google Account or device settings. If you choose to disable personalization, non-personalized ads may still be shown.

The Developer does not have access to the data Google uses to personalize ads and does not control which ads are shown.

4. Data Sharing

The Developer does not sell or share personal data with third parties, except when:

  • Required by law;
  • Necessary to comply with a court order;
  • Necessary for the operation of Google services such as Google Sign-In, Google Drive, and Google AdMob.

5. Data Storage

Financial data is stored locally on the user's device.

If backup is enabled, a copy may be stored in the user's Google Drive account.

Users are responsible for the security of their Google Account and the permissions they grant to the App.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Financial data remains stored locally on the user's device until it is deleted by the user or until the App is uninstalled.

When backup is enabled, files remain stored only in the user's Google Drive account until the user decides to delete them manually.

The Developer does not keep copies of financial data on its own servers.

Users can delete their local data directly from the App, remove their Google Account, or delete backup files stored in their Google Drive at any time.

7. Security

The Developer implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no system is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed against incidents or cyber attacks.

Whenever there is communication between the App and Google services, data is transmitted using secure connections provided by those services.

8. User Rights

Users may, at any time:

  • Delete locally stored data;
  • Revoke permissions granted to the App;
  • Delete Google Drive backup files;
  • Uninstall the App;
  • Request information about how their data is processed.
  • Request information about data retention and deletion.

9. Children

MeuDinheiroControlado is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

The Developer does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If accidental collection is identified, steps will be taken to delete that information.

10. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes.

When significant changes occur, the last updated date in this document will be revised.

Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

11. Legal Basis for Processing (LGPD)

Data processing by MeuDinheiroControlado is in accordance with Brazilian Law No. 13.709/2018 (General Data Protection Law – LGPD).

Personal data may be processed based on the following legal bases, where applicable:

  • Execution of services requested by the user;
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations;
  • User consent, when required;
  • The Developer's legitimate interest in ensuring the security, stability, and continuous improvement of the App, while respecting users' rights.

Under the LGPD, users may request:

  • Confirmation of data processing;
  • Access to personal data;
  • Correction of incomplete or outdated data;
  • Deletion of data, when applicable;
  • Revocation of consent;
  • Information about any data sharing.

12. Third-Party Services

The App uses services provided by third parties, which process some data according to their own Privacy Policies.
